David Osbourne tells how AKD helped transform the internal lighting at Sandbach School by fitting LED.
David explained: “AKD worked with us to upgrade all the internal lighting to LED fittings – that’s every classroom, every corridor and every shared internal space.
“They had several teams on site and had to upgrade thousands of items and as more problems came up (AKD) put more people on the job.”
He added: “The move to LED light fittings will lead to massive annual reductions in our electricity bill and the whole project will pay for itself within four and a half years. ”
