Work for this job originally started back in 2019 and AKD have since returned to the site at The Haining House in Selkirk, following delays caused by essential building repairs.
The 18th century house is now part of The Haining Charitable Trust which looks after the property and it’s woodlands across 160 acres. The aim is for the house to become a community hub within Selkirk which will focus on local art, culture and history while also offering private bookings for weddings and events.
Throughout the contract we will continue to upgrade the electrical distribution system with full rewiring of the whole house, including structured cabling, fire, security & CCTV.
