We recently began a new long-term project at Glasgow Central Station, working with the main contractor CPMS Ltd to remodel the site for Network Rail. Scotland’s busiest railway station will receive the £5 million upgrade over three phases, and we’ll be implementing a full electrical package as part of this.
The station’s layout will be comprehensively reconfigured to improve accessibility, with a step-free reception area to be created on the concourse level of Caledonian Chambers. Work will also enhance the customer experience further by providing users with a wider choice of retail outlets.
A new multi-faith room will also be integrated into the customer lounge, and the space within Caledonian Chambers will be extensively refurbished. We look forward to working on this prestigious job over the next 39 weeks.
